Honestly one of my favorite steakhouses. Parking is no hassle because they have valet and a lot of city parking out front. Service is always great. Food is always delicious along with the drinks. And the ambiance is perfect where you're able to have a full conversation with your partner or friends. View is beautiful. I love a good ocean view so make sure you ask for a table near the water. They also have outside dining and an outside bar. I would highly recommend this steakhouse for a date night.

I have been here in multiple occasions but nothing compares to my recent visit. It is currently undergoing renovations (or so there's a sign in front that says it), which was a bummer because I expected to see it on the inside. However, to my surprise you could not see anything. Luckily, we had a reservation as it was packed and they only had first come first serve tables outside at the time. We were celebrating an anniversary and any employees we spoke to wished us a happy anniversary, which was such a nice touch. The bread is to die for, I could eat it everyday! As for the appetizers, I highly suggest the bacon. It practically melts in your mouth. We also did the Caesar salad (sooooo much food) which was pretty standard. If you order two apps, I suggest sharing an entree cause we were so full. The filet mignon was cooked to perfection and melts in your mouth. Finally, we ended with a surprise anniversary cake "slice" (the slice was huge!) that was a perfect sweet treat! Definitely recommend this to all!

The best view in Miami! You can get a table inside or outside and you'll have the views of the water and star island! I love their truffle fries. mac and cheese and filet mignon! It is very pricey but I am not surprised because of the location and the quality of food. I hope one day they will renovate the interior and makes it less dark and gloomy. They do not take apple pay, even though they have little signs on the walls which you barely see. Be aware! The hosts should mention that upon greeting.

Went to Mother's Day dinner here and couldn't recommend this place more. We sat upstairs and had one of the best views in Miami. We started off with delicious hot bread. We loved the seafood tower. It had such a variety from ceviche to lobster tails. My only complaint was the mignonette. It was very heavy on the onions. We then ordered the twin filet cut. It was cooked to perfection. The wedge salad with thick cut bacon slices was also delicious. We ordered the creamed corn as a side. It was different but really good. Gus and Eugene gave us excellent service. It was the perfect dinner for the occasion. We will definitely be back! And that concludes our Smith & Wollensky review!

If I could give this place 11 stars, I would! Wow! If you're in Miami and looking for a nice steakhouse, this is the place I would recommend! It is a bit pricey, but worth it! It's located off South Pointe and Washington Ave, right off the water where the cruise ships pull out of port, and a great view of downtown the distance. I cannot say enough about all of the food we had, but it was delectable! We met up for dinner with my sister's friends who happened to be in the area at the same time. We got a variety of different dishes from steak to seafood dishes, and a few different side dishes. We were seated at a round table inside with a view of the water and downtown. Of course we had to step outside to take photos by the water. Our server was fabulous, and she took care of us from beginning to end. She was attentive to our whole dinner party, and even was happy to make sure she surprised my sister with birthday treat when I let her know of the occasion. If I'm ever here again, I would love to come and get their Swinging Tomahawk steak dish! Yummmm! Thank you Smith & Wollensky staff for a memorable experience!

I was looking for a nice place to eat in Miami when I stumbled upon the reviews of this place. While the reviews were hit or miss, there seemed to be one dish that stood out, Angry Shrimp. I was intrigued so I had to try it. The pictures show 4 shrimp and the price is $27, however when I got there I was notified that it's a 3 shrimp dish. This matters because $27 is a lot for 3 shrimp. What I will say though is rude the shrimp were actually jumbo prawns, on a bed of mashed potatoes, and absolutely delicious. The shrimp had a nice brown crunchy coating. I that said, they could have been seasoned better. The starter bread is absolutely delicious, and they bring out butter, and the Caesar salad I ordered had the right ratio of cheese, croutons and dressing. The service was good as well. I will note that street parking outside of this restaurant is an insane flat fee of $20.

Love S & W! Was treated to an amazing dinner here. We opted to sit outside looking out the water which was very relaxing, and the views were amazing! To start, their bread basket is so yummy! They bring out the bread in a round formation and you pull out a piece as you desire. We had the shellfish tower for two which was surprisingly very filling. Lobster tail, jumbo shrimp, oysters oh my!! The filet mignon was unbelievable! Perfectly seasoned and cooked! Had it with a side of mashed potatoes.. Cat wait to go back!
